Samuel L. Jackson
Samuel L. Jackson and his wife, actress LaTanya Richardson Jackson, have put
their Encino, California, house on the market for $2,499,000. The Jacksons
purchased the 4,700-square-foot, Tudor-style home for $1.7 million in 1995,
shortly after the Academy Awards. (That was the year Jackson was nominated for
best supporting actor for his role as the bible-spouting hit man in "Pulp
Fiction.") The Jacksons ripped out an old pool, installed a putting green in its
place and built a 66-by-22-foot pool "so that Sam could swim laps," says listing
agent Alfie Shanfeld, of Coldwell Banker. Shanfeld also said the Jacksons built
a three-car garage and a patio, but that most of the modifications they made to
the interior of the main house were decorative. The two-story house has four
bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and three fireplaces, two of which were
imported from England. It also has a 3,000-square-foot guesthouse and a tennis
court.
This two story detached, Tudor home built in 1981 has 4 bedroom(s), 4.50 bath(s)
and is approximately 4771 sq. ft. Rooms include a family room, formal dining
room, breakfast area, den/study, laundry room, maid or guest suite. Other
features include fireplace(s), hardwood floors. This home has a 4 or more car
garage. Recreation amenities include tennis court. This home has RV parking.
Lot is 38640 sq. ft. Lot size is between 1/2 and 1 acre
The Jacksons recently bought a 10,000-square-foot house from Roseanne in
Beverly Park, of Beverly Hills. The price: $9.8 million.
